Becoming Doppelganger
The recognition of a corporeal doppelganger may induce the sense of existing in a surreal alternate reality or dream-like condition. Deja Vu can be caused by a Liminal Doppelganger condition, an element derived from a look-alike yet in a state of limbo during its transformation, causing the feeling of familiarity, but with sufficient differentiation. While the Virtual Doppelganger exists solely in the individual's sub-conscious, an element so distorted that one may only feel a faint degree of familiarity.
It is from these Properties and Capacities of the Doppelganger effect, first analyzed in Hieronymous Bosch's paintings, in which the Doppelganger Museum and Virtual Doppelganger Memory Prosthetic was generated through forensic mutation processes. The organic growth of formal, spatial, virtual, and programmatic elements stimulate the genesis of mutated and inverted doppelganger conditions above and below the datum of reality. The Doppelganger Museum and complementing body prosthetic will produce a multi-layered doppelganger memory, which is experienced virtually and generated based on objects found in the museum's collections. Each guest's journeys through levels of surreal dreams, mutated from real memories, with Bosch elements grafted onto each personal experience.
